When Do Periods Start After Taking Next Choice Pills?
Hi my name is Kristina. I took next choice pill on january second then i got my period 6 days after. The lady that guided me through this pill said that if i get my period 6 or 7 days after taking the pill, that means that I am not pregnant. I still havent gotten my period. I was supposed to get it on the 9th but she said that it ll be a week earlier or a week later that my next period would come after taking the pill. When will I most likely get my period?

After taking emergency pill, period may be delayed for 1-2 weeks from due date due to hormonal imbalance and stress. However, effectiveness of the pill will remain same with or without bleeding if taken within first 24 hrs of sex.
You should undergo one home pregnancy test if your period is delayed more that 1 week.
Practice safe sex in future. Good luck.
