When Can Swelling Of Inguinal Lymph Nodes Be Expected To Return To Normal?

I have had swollen inguinal lymph nodes for 7 weeks. At week 4 I was diagnosed for bacterial vaginosis. My primary ordered a ct scan last week and the results have not been given to me over the phone. The secretary made an appointment in 2 weeks to go over the scan. She stated that it didn t say I needed to be seen within two days or that it was an emergency but also didn t tell me what the radiologist wrote. My ESR was 33 and all other bloodwork was normal. I lost 15 lbs in 3 months and then another 6 lbs in the last 4 weeks. what should I expect and if the swelling is from the BV when should I expect the lymph nodes to return to normal?

Hello

With Persistent lymphonodal swelling, weight loss and elevated ESR I would suspect tuberculosis.
If the cause is bacterial vaginosis then with antibiotic treatment the lymphonodal swell will subside in 2 to 4 weeks time.
