What Causes Yellow Discharge With Spotting And Vaginal Itching?
I took Plan B about a week ago. My period is supposed to start in the next week or so. I am having a yellow discharge as well as some red (spotting maybe?). There's also a bit of itching and a little pain. I've had a yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis before, and it doesn't smell the same. Should I be worried?

According to your history the possible causes of your symptoms are:
- High dose of hormones in emergency contraceptive pill can lead to the withdrawal bleeding by acting on the endometrium. In that case the spotting may convert into bleeding.
- Pelvic infection due to unprotected intercourse can lead to symptoms like vaginal discharge, itching, spotting, etc.
If the symptoms persist, please consult your gynecologist once get examined and if needed undergo investigations like Pap smear, vaginal swab for culture and sensitivity. With this work up the possible causes of your problem can be identified and treatment can be planned accordingly. Both the partners should be treated simultaneously to prevent future cross infections.
