Hello In my opinion, the fasting glucose level and the reading after 1hour are within normal limits. However the second hour and third hour levels are higher than the normal range. Usually the maximum blood glucose level is reached either half an hour to one hour after taking glucose, blood sugar then returns rapidly to normal fasting levels within 2hours. Your wife's reports indicate that the glucose tolerance is decreased with diabetic tendency or probably mild diabetic. Since she is in her third trimester, her sugar levels need to be monitored closely and do discuss with her doctor regarding medications and/or dietary modifications, as it is important to maintain normal glucose levels in the baby also. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
