Thanks for using Healthcaremagic. There are various types of epilepsy syndromes. The most common measures for some one who is suffering from epilepsy are:
1. Regular intake of medicines
2. Regular follow up with physician or Neurologist
3. Avoid sleep deprivation.
4. Avoid driving or swimming if the epilepsy is active at least for 6 months
5. Avoid too much stress
6. Treat infections or fever early with medications.
