What Medicine Can Be Used While Being On Carbamazepine For Delaying Periods?
Hi I'm currently on Carbamazepine (tegretol) medication and my periods are due in 5-6 days but I've got an important official event coming up so could you suggest some medications which will be safe to use with the medicines I'm on already? My last period was on the 26 th jan and my due date for this month is 22-23 feb.

I have gone through your query.Periods can be delayed by taking hormonal preparations like norethisterone, a progesterone drug.Usually it is started before 3 days of expected period.Your period should arrive two to three days after you stop taking the norethisterone.Consult your doctor for prescription of that.Have a nice day.
