What Is This White Wart On My Tongue ?

I have a white wart looking thing on the end of my tongue, when I wake up it is a little sore but it is died skin . I was told that I could get it cut off but if its not broken don t fix it is the way I think. Do you have any clue what it could be or is there something over the counter I can get for this? I am 53? I have high blood pressure , other than that I am in great health.

Hi,thanks for query.What are having is probably a simple cyst on your tongue.It contains fluid,when broken it reduces in size,when it gets filled with fluid you can feel it.Your doctor is right if it bothers your please get it removed.bye.
