I have the coffee grounds and couldnt eat or drink anything all night. I ve had Mirena going on 4 years this April. I ve had an abnormal amount of weight gain too. Hello madam, from the history you have given, well mirena contains levonorgestrel progesterone which has a side effect of weight gain.If the symptoms get worsen you may have to remove the mirena after consultation with your gynaecologist. Mirena has a half life of 5 years.Well only after an examination and kind of lesion (ulcer) can the cause of the ulcer be diagnosed. Hope i was helpful to you.
