What Is The Treatment For Type 2 Diabetes?
I am a 21 year old boy. I am about 5 10 and weigh about 175 pounds. At the age of 16 i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Since then my stomach has expanded greatly in about 2-3 months, i look about 6-7 months pregnant but it is muscle, not fat. I have not gained any weight. I can suck my stomach in and make myself look completely normal, which means i can suck in more than ten inches. I have no pain or discomfort. I am very active and very healthy. Any ideas what it could be? My doctor told me it was just fat but didn t even look at it.

It is uncommon to have type 2 diabetics at your age of 16 ; but as you seem to be obese, the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes has probably been entertained. Distended abdomen could be fat, gas or free fluid however as you can suck it in, i guess it is normal belly fat. if you still need further confirmation, you may go for ultrasound abdomen.
if your diabetes is not well under control that with the world lyrics oral drugs then you might require in film insulin.
