What Is The Treatment For Severe Chronic Radiation Proctitis?
i have severe chronic radiation proctitis. i have tried several treatments, however, my quality of life remains compromised at this time. i had the radiation treatments from 10/2009 to 1/2010.. i am trying to determine if there are any available treatments which i have not utilized. my proctitis does not include any visible YYYY@YYYY

Hello,
1) You can try local ointment of steroids
2) Also try to avoid constipation with stool softener.
3) If you have itching around anus then you can try anti-histaminic group of medication.
4) In case of severe pain while passing stool then, you should use local anesthetic ointment after passing stool to relieve pain.
