What Is The Treatment For Pain And Bleeding?

A 2.1 cm Nabothian cyst was mentioned in a CT abdomen/pelvis recently. Ultrasound was recommended but my GYN did not feel it was necessary. I have not had a pelvic exam since this was found. I have had had an increased frequency of pain and bleeding with intercourse within the past few months. Would you agree that the ultrasound is not needed? Brief gyn hx: primary dysmenorrhea, endometriosis, ovarian cysts-no abnormal pap hx.
Thanks very much.
