What Is The Treatment For Arrhythmia?

My heart skips and then thumps on an average of every 30th beat. Sometimes the interval is much longer or less than ten beats. I have MS and hypothyroidism. I am on meds for both, the thyroid for over a year and the arrhythmia has only started a few months ago.

Hi,

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to thyroid hormone imbalance.

For this reason, I would recommend first checking your thyroid hormone levels in order to make the proper adjustments to your therapy if necessary.I would also recommend performing an ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring to check for possible cardiac arrhythmia.

Hope I have answered your query.
