What Is The Treatment For Anal Discharge And Constipation?
I have always had issues going to the bathroom, a year ago I found a flat almost pasta like thing in my stool. I looked up online and found it to be a tapeworm. I went to the doctors who did a rectal exam and took 3 samples and have heard nothing since. I have had alot of mucus coming from my anus and there are little blood spots through it. It's affecting my eating an I go from being severely constipated to being unable to get off the toilet. Please help me. I often have a bubbly sensation in my lower abdomen, and my sides and back. It's really worrying me
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your symptoms seem to be related to anal fissure. Some advice that I can give to you are :
-Use over-the-counter stool softeners. -drink more fluids. -Take fiber supplements and eating more fibrous foods, such as raw fruits and vegetables. -Take warm baths called sitz baths to relax the anal muscles, relieve irritation, and increase blood flow to the anorectal area.
Kind regards!
