What Is The Treatment For A Lump On The Head And Fever?

My 6 month old daughter woke this morning with chicken pox after a few days of a fever, runny nose and a cough. However, in addition to the spots that are appearing she has two lumps on the back of her head. Is this normal? SHe does have a lot of spots appearing in that area.

These lumps are most probably lymph node swelling. Lymph node swelling occurs in infection and as the infection settle, the lymph node swelling decrease. Since, child has chickenpox, fever and rash, this lymph node swelling is related to it. If it increases in size then you have to get the child examined by a doctor. Take care.
