Hello,

Sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I hope by now your doctor would have explained about fibromyalgia and also you have done some homework about it.

Now, coming the therapeutic part, let me be honest, that this condition needs to be taken care under a proper treatment plan which will include the following based on the clinical examination. Medication, physiotherapy, meditation, breathing exercises.

In my practice of over 12 years, most patients I have seen till date with fibromyalgia have been able to have a better quality of life with the help of medication, physiotherapy, meditation and breathing exercises.

I will recommend you to meet up a physiotherapist who can assess the muscle stiffness and weakness. So he can plan up to the exercise program and also some physical modalities by which you can have a good quality of life.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
