Question: Dear Sir,
I want to ask about my daughter's knee pain related problem. She is 18 months old and facing a problem in her both leg. She can not even walk on her feet.She got several times swelling on her both knee, while try to walk on her legs. Please see the attached report for your kind review.

I have seen the report and it shows positive ANA,raised CRP and raised ESR.The values increased further after one month.
Negative Rheumatoid factor can be there even in juvenile arthritis.
Other possibilities like septic arthritis,vasculitis are uncommon with this report.
I would suggest you to wait for the MRI report as that may give clue to the possible diagnosis.
Please let me know about the further proceedings.

In case of recurrent swelling of knee joint with positive ANA,raised ESR and CRP the most likely possibility is juvenile ideopathic arthritis(JIA).
Rheumatoid factor is negative,which is possible in a variant of JIA and is more common in this age.
Here before labelling a diagnosis I would like to wait for MRI report and also suggest you to consult a pediatric rheumatologist for his expert opinion.
So don't get overly worried.First consult a rheumatologist regarding the diagnosis and then management accordingly.
