What Is The Severe Pain In Anus After Passing Stools?

My husband age 34 had a minor surgery for fissure 8 days back, but even now after passing motion he is feeling terrible pain as before the surgery and he gets relieved only after sitting on hot water. Please suggest is it normal or anything more needs to be done.

Hello,

You have stated the history of anal fissure surgery that is being done on your husband but he is having pain so much pain could be part of surgery but it may not long last just a few days is okay but beyond that there should not be any pain and if it is so then, it must be part of infection is likely or anything else must have gone wrong and it could be a matter of concern, I would advise seeing the doctor if the pain does not subside within a few days or long last for days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
