What Is The Remedy For Increasing Discharge Of Mucus When Going To Toilet And Increased Flatulence?

Hi I had colonoscopy about two years ago with a few polyps removed for biopsy etc. (nothing reported back so assumed ok) Since then I have increasing amounts of mucus when going to toilet and increased flatulence.

Any suggestions to resolve would e appreciated

Greetings of the day

Presence of excessive mucousI stools is likely to be due to inflammatory pathology of the colon causing colitis.
Would suggest you to get stool microscope examination which will rule out protozoal infection as the cause.

Appropriate antibiotic may be needed.
