Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I can understand your concern for itchy vagina. The problem appears to be most precisely of "candidal vulvovaginitis." It is a
fungal infection with milky/curdy/chalky discharge with itching and soreness and
redness inside the vagina. Most commonly is due to improper hygiene and as
STD also.
For the prevention of this situation in future kindly follow the suggestions below:
• You should maintain good hygiene.
• Wear cotton clothes and cotton undergarments.
• Keep yourself away from hot and humid climate.
• Take 2 times bath.
If I were your treating doctor then would have prescribed to take antifungal tablet such as
fluconazole by mouth as well as vaginal pessary to be inserted at night for 7 days.
All the best.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sanjay Kumar Kanodia
