What Is The Remedy Facing Indigestion Probelm With Foul Motion In Child ?
Doctor my son is 1yr and4 months old.He is not taking solid food..having indigestion problems..sometimes the motion smells foul also.what cane be the reason for this?

hi,thanks for query.At this age he should be taking solids as otherwise he will suffer from under nutrition.Please go for his stool test to see for infection.Smell in stool could be due to infection,give him semi solid to start with then gradually build up the consistency.Please take advise from your primary care physician in case of infection.

The actual fact is that the term "Indigestion" is not used in this age group,so dont worry about that.And the smell of stool is insignificant when baby is otherwise normal.the smell and consistency is depends on many factor mostly dietary factor.when the weight is normal for age then do not worry.
