What Is The Reason For Having Heavy Bleeding With No Pain After Pregnancy Tested Positive And The Scan Did Not Show Any Sac?

I have had 5 positive pregnancy tests in 4 weeks, went for a scan on Wednesday and they couldn't see a sac, a baby or any heart beat my last period was 13/11/13. I went for a blood test on Wednesday and am awaiting results and have another one later today. I had heavy bleeding for the last 2 days with no pain and the bleeding has been very light with no pain today. What is going on am I pregnant or not. I am afraid I may be miscarrying

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The only possible explanations can be either a false-positive pregnancy test which will have to be repeated at the earliest or a miscarriage. Please consult your doctor for the same and go about a more elaborate evaluation.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
