Thanks for query,
Your brother requires investigations for long time fever.
You go for,
1,Blood for TC,DC,Esr,Widal test.
2,routine urine check up,
3,Xray chest.
After all reports you consult physician and seek his advice.
If he is run down more better he should be admitted in the hospital.
Give plenty of liquids, light food and fresh fruits juices.
ok and bye.

OBGYN Dr. Minoo Bhagia's  Response
Hello Mayank ,
Welcome to the healthcare magic forum ,
Long lasting fever should be investigated properly. Is there any evening rise of temperature ?
Is it accompanied by chills and rigors ?
Is there is any problem in urine like burning micturition , pain etc.
Is there any history of cough ?
I think he should go for the investigations like haemogram , ESR , CBC , widal test for typhoid , MP test , Montoux test ,X ray chest , complete urine examination , ultrasound etc.Consult a good physician who is MD.
Wishing your brother good health and long life ,
Take care
