What Is The Range For Borderline Anti Hcv

i hav been told i m boderline hcv positive, the value given is 0.67. i repeated the test in same lab for medical clearance for saudi arabia which showed the same result. i also gave an other lab test ELISA Anti HCV in a renownd lab tht stated that i m HCV negative the value given was 0.21 and cut off was 1. can any one plz tell me the range for borderline Anti HCV by ELISA

An HCV antibody test is used as screening test only. It detects the presence of antibodies to the virus, indicating previous exposure to HCV.If the test is "weakly positive," it may be a false positive.CDC recommends that all positive antibody tests be followed by an HCV RNA test that detects viral RNA in the blood and detects an active infection.So you must get this confirmatory test done to clear the confusion.Take care
