What Is The Non Surgical Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes?

i had a malignant melanoma removed from the back of my left thigh a year ago. The doctor after a month also removed 2 sentinel nodes in my left groin area which were clean. Had 2 thorough follow-up checks at 6 monthly intervals last year which also proved negative. Found a swollen lymph node in left groin area which according to tests is inflitrated with the melanoma cells. CAt scan proved negative, Doctor recommends removal of all nodes in groin area. Is there alternative treatment and what is the prognosis? What is the possibility of permanent cure with the righ treatment?
