What Is The Medication For Severe Nerve Pain?

Hello, I was prescibed gabapentin 300 by a VA doctor for nerve pain. I have pain in my legs and feet, swollen feet, legs are weak and standing walking or just laying down can be painful. I took this drug for five months and I could have been taking aspirin for all it did. I have discontinued use. Are there no other pain medications available for symptons I ve described? Thanks, Dave Harding

In my opinion you can try Amitriptyline which is an anti depressant , can help very much with your problem

Good Luck
