General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

A soft large and fleshy lump after a bout of hard stools followed by diarrhea without any pain or bleeding can be due to prolapsed hemorrhoid.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult a General Surgeon for ano-proctoscopy and per-rectal digital palpation for knowing the possible cause.
Prolapsed hemorrhoid always needs surgery as this is of grade 3 or 4.
Take stool softeners and have adjusted diet to have soft motions.
Avoid the foods and beverages that cause constipation or hard stools.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
