What Is The Cure For Cramping After Delivery 3 Weeks Ago?

Hi, I had a baby 3 weeks ago. Vaginal delivery and I'm not breast feeding I am having severe cramping. I tried over the counter Motrin, 600 mg ibprofen, heating pad, and rest with plenty of water. What could be causing the pain? What can I take to get relief?

Hi

The uterus tries to expel small parts of tissues remaining during delivery. Hence you have pain. You might experience some discharge also which is normal.

Uterus which is enlarged to accomodate baby will be becoming small slowly. This is another reason for pain.

Dont worry it will reduce on its own. Try to breast feed baby which is good for baby.

Regards
