What Is The Cure For An Infection In Vagina?

Hi, I am 16 and I am not sexually active. My vagina has been itchy, so I thought it may be a yeast infection. Earlier today the itching was so bad I washed the area with salt water to try and stop the itching. I took a shower about 20 min later to rinse, and I noticed my labia minor on the right side was very swollen and red. Now it's still swollen, red, and harder than normal. It only hurts when I push on the swollen area. We don't have Heath insurance, so if I could avoid going to the doctor it would be preferred. Is there anything I could do? What Is happening?
