What Is The Cause Of Tingling And Stinging Feeling In Anus, and How Should I Handle This?

I had unprotected receptive anal sex back in September. Since then, I have had like a little tingling, stinging feeling in my anus.. I've got tested for stds and HIV with negative results.. I've gotten 2 anal paps in which they have been coming back saying that their were not enough cells on the swab to determine anything.. I have no other symptoms or complications other than this weird feeling in my anus.. I really wanna kno wat it is yu think it could be or sum advice on how I should go about handling this.. Im already scheduled for another pap.. Im jus hoping they could diagnose me this time so I can get cured. it's not like extremely painful but I know its not right and I really wanna get past this.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The symptoms you are experiencing are related to the trauma (injury) caused to the anus when you had anal sex. Anus is not the appropriate "hole" to have sex as its muscles and sphincter are not "designed" for having sex.

Please do not have anal sex anymore as your body is giving signals that it cannot support it!
Take good care of your body!
