What Is The Cause Of Brown Discharge When Pregnant?

my LMP 5 january 2014 i did pregnancy test that was positive. Yesterday ultrasound report shows that uterus shows an echo free area i.e. Gestational sac measuring 17.5mm by 9.7mm. No fetal pole seen on scan . I have also little brown discharg very minor. Please tell me i am pregnant or not i am very worried. Please help

Hi,
In the current scenario, you should get a repeat sonogram, preferably trans-vaginal, after a few days to see if the sac has grown and if the fetal pole can be visualized. At this stage, you should have visible sac with well defined fetal pole and heart beat. I would also suggest serial serum beta-hCG titres as falling titres suggest a missed abortion while doubling titres every 2-3 days indicate good progress. The discharge could be due to hormonal imbalance or a missed pregnancy. Hope this helps.
