Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My three year old had red bumps on her buttocks that started with what looked like a bug bite. Over a week, it spread around her buttocks (only there) and they became itchy. They have now cleared up, but now my son has bumps around his buttocks that seem to be spreading. Any guidance on what this could be?
Hi, It seems that she might be having yeast infection or nappy rash giving this problem. Apply triple action cream on the part. Wear cotton clothes. If there is some infection took place, then go for one antibiotic medicine course. Give Cetrizine or Benadryl for itching. If itching will stop bump will be cleared speedily. Ok and take care.
