Hello Sir i am 32 yrs old , i have a dark complexion which i wasnt when i was around 20 to 24 but gradually due to work and travelling my skin turned to be dark and dark and now since few yrs my skin has become so sensitive that if i stand in the sun for almost an hr it starts to irritate and i begin to scrach. I have been to a dermitologist and almost for few yrs now and he suggested me sun screen called sungrace 50+ but as soon i used to put it and go in the sun after 30 mins my skin used to become dry and after a day it used to peel off and then he changed to melagard 50+ it was ok for few weeks but latter it also had the same effect my skin turns to become dry and peel. i used to use as he suggested kojic in the nights and nothing changed as well . now i am afraid toi go out completly as i feel fear of being sun burned again and alreay i am dark and still dont wanna loose the remaining life becoming darker even more and my skin is drying of easily as well

Hi,

I can understand your concern for sunburns on sensitive skin .

If I were your dermatologist then I would have suggested you to use azelaic acid cream or Kojic acid cream or glycolic acid cream or licorice extract or arbutine creams at night time in guidance of dermatologist.

The most important part is to use a sunscreen regularly in open environment and on exposure to sun.

Take a proper guidance and follow up with a good dermatologist so that all the problem can be dealt best for future time.

Protect yourself form direct sunlight.

Take care
