What Is Role Of Absolute Eosinophils ?
I was wondering someone can tell me what Absolute Eosinophils do? My 14 year old daugher had Amemia and had her blood drawn the results show she has Zero Absolute Eosinophils. Also she show a Red Blood Cell Count of 3.7 which is low. Should I take her back to the doctor?
My daughter is 14 year old, 110 pounds, 5' 3 She was recently told she has Ulceritve Colitus.

If high eosinophil count means there is problem cause auto immune diseases,allergic reactions but
As normal levels of eosinophils can be zero, a low level of eosinophils isn't usually considered a medical problem after one test.
