I have serious questions ! I have done cocaine for a year and a half and I need to stop on the inside of my nose I have an indent on the side the cartilage is on with a scab covering it I am so scared can this heal without medical treatment and return to good as new ? Or am I screwed I don't want a hole in my nose ! How long would it take to heal? What could I do to speed the healin up? But if there is a scab is it a good thing or when the scab comes off will I discover a hole? Please help

Hi,

The presence of the scab suggest that some healing is occurring and a hole is not yet fully formed. In my opinion, you should not neglect this and consult an ENT doctor so that the lesion can be examined and it can be decided if a course of antibiotics is needed or not. Infection can prevent healing and so, must be prevented.

Best wishes.
