Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Is Causing Annoying Pain In My Left Love Handle?
I ve had an annoying pain in my left love handle for some weeks now. sometimes in the back some times on the side or even the front but rarely. I want to attribute it to excercise. I have been working out for almost 3 months but it doesnt feel like muscle pain it almost feels like organ pain if that makes sense.
As you mentioned about the pain location in the history I think you should get cleared of your doubts. Get and abdominal scan done so we can figure if any organ is involved. Along with this do routine blood and urine tests so we correlate and provide some inputs.
In case the above ones turn out to be normal than we may need an MRI scan of the lumbar spine to rule out any pathology of the spinal nerve roots. as sometimes there is the possibility of nerve getting entrapped and less to symptoms.
Even if this turns out normal then it can be the wrong way of doing exercises leading to such pains.
It is always advised to take calls step by step so a good diagnosis is made and treated accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
