Hi,

According to the ultrasound report, it appears that, that is a large lesion arising from the ovary with multiple septations which could be complex cystic space occupying lesion of the ovary, possibly a mucinous cystadenoma. Generally mucinous cystadenoma of the ovary is considered as a benign lesion, but to know more about the lesion, you can go for investigations like MRI, tumor markers like CA 125 levels and carcinoembryonic antigen levels.

With this work up the possible nature of the lesion can be identified and treatment can be planned accordingly. But the exact nature of the lesion can be confirmed only by doing the hystopathological examination of the specimen which will be removed during the surgery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
