What Does The X-rays Reports Mean?
Hi & hope you can render assistance, to stem some of my apprehensions.
I had an X-ray yesterday and the results state I've a Homogenous Echotexture in the liver. Coupled to that they e discovered a cyst - 3.8 x 3 x 4.1 cm
Can you offer a brief assessment please.

According to the report echotexture of your liver is homogeneous which is normal.
There is a cyst in the liver measuring 3.8 x 3 x 4.1 cm.Though further details are not given,it may be simple or complex cyst.
Simple cysts are mostly developmental in origin whereas complex cyst need further investigations like contrast CT Scan of abdomen.
You need clinical examination and few routine tests.
Proper treatment depend upon clinical findings and investigation reports.
