What Does The Ecg Report Indicate?

my 13 yr old son had some sort of episode at school, (inflammation of cartilage at breast plate and ribs that caused his breathing at heart rate to change. in 2008 he was DX with an arrhythmia that he would out grow. I got a copy today of his ecg done in the ER. ( school sent him to ER) and it states: vent rate: 56 bpm, PR int. 131 ms, QRS dur: 109, QT/QRc: 402/394 ms, PRT axes: 128 73 116. Sinus bradycardia with sinus arrhythmia; RSR (QR) in V1/V2 consistent with right ventricular conduction delay. Moderate ST depression. Abnormal ECG. I am worried due to all the electrical implications this may have, I have WPW . He plays football and I want to make sure he will be ok if he plays.

Welcome to Healthcare magic . Thank you for posting your query.
I can understand your query.

Let me solve your queries -
i) Ventricular rate - a bit low
ii) PR interval - normal
iii) QRS duration - normal
iv) QTc- normal
v) Axis - normal
vi) RSR pattern in V1/V2 - suggestive of right bundle branch block

Do not worry much. Get an echocardiogram done.
Consult a cardiologist. He/she can examine him and correlate clinically.

Post any other question. We will be happy to help.
Have a nice day. Regards.
