What Does The SGPT In My Result Indicate?

My Hepatitus B is positve cutoff value is 10, SGPT is 105. And there is permanent heaviness(hardsness) near my liver, no hunger, food digestion is very slow. I want to confirm is it Hepatitus problem or a stomoc problem.

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

Your SGPT is more than 2 times the upper limit of normal and it is significantly elevated. Since you are also positive for hepatitis B, I would advise you to get a complete work up done including HBeAg, HBV DNA etc..
To know whether the heaviness is due to stomach problem, you can get an upper GI endoscopy done.

I hope that answers your question.
Regards.
