Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.
I am sorry for the situation you are in.
In my opinion the optimal therapeutic level when using coumarin should be within INR values of 2.0 and 3.0....
Lower values will not offer protection while higher values promote bleeding risk, especially in individuals of advanced age .
Usually depending on this doctor will adjust the dose of acitrom.
This fluctuation might be due to Drug interactions and due to different kinds of food intake which induces your liver enzymes to burn drug quickly.
i suggest to meet your doc for dose change if require.
Hope I was able to help you.
If you have any further question fell free to write me back.I will be happy to help.
Take care.
Best Regards.
