OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

This can indicate a condition which is called endometriosis which needs to be excluded, so I would suggest a ultrasound examination may lower abdomen.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
