What Does Non Motile Spermatozoa In Semen Analysis Suggest?

hi doc... i have been married for about a year ... my hausband had his semen analysis results as follows...

volume 3 ml

ph alkaline

viscosity : slightly viscod

liquification time 25 min

RBCS ++

and sperm count was written as 4-5 motile and non motile spermatozoa seen

our doc decide to have clomid and vitamins for the next 2 months

so .. now i want to know if there are any chances for him to be better ??

Based on the report of Semen Analysis of your husband that you have posted which reveled low sperm count and absence of motility suggests that he has what is called as Oligoasthenozoospermia .

Truly speaking there are no medications that can increase sperm count and sperm motility .

However one can be labeled infertile only after three consecutive semen analysis reports done at the one moth interval reveal low sperm count and motility ,

You need to consult qualified infertility specialist for assessment and explore possibility of conception with the help of newly assisted reproductive techniques like sperm concentration , IVF and ICSI .
