General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.I understand your concern.
Brief answr: The reports suggest that your triglyceride,VLDL(bad cholesterol) levels increased and HDL(good cholesterol) level decreased which are not normal.
Detailed answer: If i was your physician, would too have suggested drug like fenofibrate(Lipicard) 160mg once daily, along with proper diet(like to avoid saturated fatty diet, processed, high caloric foods and to encourage high fiber diet etc) and lifestyle modifications(like increased physical activity for 40 minutes daily, avoiding smoking, weight management etc) to optimize your lipid levels. There are rare chances of adverse reactions like drug induced hepatitis, renal function abnormality as with any drug but careful monitoring with liver function test, kidney function tests avoids it.Hope i have answered your query. If any questions, happy to answer you.Take care.
