Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Moderate opacification of the left sphenoid sinus is due to chronic sinusitis.
Due to chronic inflammation, mucus lining of sinus becomes thick and it may lead to formation of polyp. This lead to opacity.
Your report doesn't mention about the status of other sinuses like maxillary, frontal and ethmoid sinus.
Isolated sphenoid sinus doesn't require any definitive treatment because it is dangerous area to intervene.

She require treatment for sinusitis.Nasal steroids, decongestants and antihistaminics should be prescribed. She should also avoid allergens.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your question.

Take Care
