What Does Low Vitamin B12 Level During Pregnancy Mean?
Hi,
I m 26 week pregnant & I found my vitamin B12(85) level low in my last blood report ( which I go before 3 weeks ),
so which tablet should I take for that, and is this ok that now I will take B12 supplement (3-4 weeks after getting report) is my baby will be ok.

hi low b 12 levels have no effects on the baby but cause anaemia in the mother . you will have to take methyl cobalamin injections and you should take a diet with soya beans, liver, meat , etc.you must also take folic acid supplementation while on b 12 injections .all the best and take care.
