What Is The Need Of Taking Vitamin B12 And Iron Pills During Pregnancy?

Hi I'm 35 weeks pregnant and was given vitamin B12 and iron pills today. But my question is why do I need to take vitamin B12 I looked up side effects and did my research it makes me scared to take them and makes me concerned is there something wrong with my baby is that why I'm Pu on vitamin B12

The requirement of iron, calcium, vitamin and mineral is increased during pregnancy that is reason doctor prescribed these medication.
Vitamin B12 is important for neurological growth of baby.
If you are having side effect because of it so stop taking it and consult your treating doctor.
