What Does Less Hearing In Left Ear And Dizziness Indicate?
Hello. I recently I had a cold it lasted about a week and a half then on Dec 31 I blew my nose and my left ear popped resaulting in severe dizzyness. Now 3 days later I have very very little hearing in that same ear and persistent pain. So what's wrong?
As per your query you have problem of hearing in left ear and dizziness also known as vertigo . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) are ear infection , hypoglycemia , anemia , meniere's disease , migraine , acoustic neuroma and alteration in he blood circulation . But in your case the main reason for vertigo is hearing loss . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like rotatory chair test , head movement test , posturography , hearing test and CT scan . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , sedatives and recommend balance therapy , vestibular therapy , hearing aid or physiotherapy . For now do not bend forward and drink green tea thrice a day .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
