What Does It Mean By "multiple Large Round Homogenous Opacities Are Seen In Both Lower Lobes", In An X-ray Report?

Hi Doctor, My father has cough problem from last two week, I went to doctor in my city he suggesst chest X-ray. In the X-ray report they have mention 'Multiple Large round homogenous opacities are seen in both lower lobes and now they asking me for CECT for further evaluation

it means they there is some disease tissue which is being seen in the xray.. causes may be multiple.. depends upon the nature of the cough, other associated symptoms and most importantly smoking history.. getting a cect is suggested to better differentiate the lesion and aids in further diagnosis..
