Hello j A heterogeneous liver appears to have different masses or structures inside it when imaged via ultrasound. These masses may be benign genetic differences or a result of liver disease. In most cases, a finding of heterogeneous liver is followed by further medical testing to determine the cause of the heterogeneity. So most of the time heterogeneous liver on ultrasound can be the sign of a fatty liver for example. When the rest of your exams are ok , it s highly unlikely that a tumor or liver cirrhosis are present. In case of fatty liver which is reversible one can avoid fatty meals. For me it would not be a reason to deny a insurance. Hope this helps
