Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. As per your history it is most likely to be a muscular pain due to trauma. As long as you are conscious and you are able to move all four limbs with normal power and feel normal sensations, there is no big worry. If neckpain is too severe, I would advise you to consult nearby Emergency department for examination and investigations in form of Xray cervical spine and CT scan if required. C-spine immobilization collar can be helpful.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
